Abstract

The article presents the results of theoretical and empirical research aimed at identifying individual psychological characteristics of life-purpose orientations affecting the occurrence of loneliness experiencing. It presents the views of researchers, considering loneliness as an emotional state, a feeling and a subjective experience. The general analysis of research in the field of the formation of life-purpose orientations, which are shown in the goals, ideals, beliefs, interests and the other aspects of individual's consciousness, influencing behavior and personal development, that determine the choice of the way of living, the individual’s self-determination, revealing the potential now and in the future and provide the insights about meaningfulness and richness of life, is performed. У статті представлені результати емпіричного вивчення сенсожиттєвих орієнтацій осіб з різним рівнем переживання самотності.
