Педагогічна спадщина В. О. Сухомлинського – першоджерело формування українськомовної особистості дошкільників і молодших школярів

Abstract

The article deals with the idea that a preschool and elementary teacher forms the linguistic identity of preschoolers and primary pupils. The destiny of both: the Ukrainian language and our state substantially depends on the success of the process of young generation’s linguistic identity development. The formation of the language personality is realized under the conditions of the following contradictions: between the necessity of forming a many-sided personality of a future citizen, which would represent the mentality of the Ukrainian people, and a real state of this process in our motherland, especially in different regions; also the contradictions between the level of modern requirements to the speech development of a child personality, its formation at the appropriate level of speech, communicative competence and stability of traditional approaches, techniques, which do not contribute to this process. У статті йдеться про те, що вихователь дошкільного закладу і вчитель початкових класів стоять біля джерел формування мовної особистості дітей дошкільного і молодшого шкільного віку. Від успішності цього процесу великою мірою залежить і доля української мови, і доля нашої держави. Автор статті ділиться своїм особистим досвідом створення системи початкової мовної освіти і виховання – програм, підручників, навчально-методичних посібників, створених на засадах компетентнісного підходу. У цій роботі він активно викори- стовує поради Василя Олександровича Сухомлинського про необхідність подолання формалізму в навчанні рідної мови наймолодших.
