Abstract: | У статті розглянуто теоретичний аспект формування конкурентоздатності майбутніх психологів. Було визначено складові елементи сутності конкурентоздатності спеціаліста, які є базовими для формування спроможності майбутнього фахівця бути успішним на ринку праці. The problem of forming competitiveness of future specialists-psychologists has in recent years been studied by scientists from different scientific fields. The relevance of scientific papers on the issue is determined by the socio- economic changes in Ukraine, which has, in its turn, influenced the strategic tasks of higher education. The study of quality parameters of educational process in Ukraine enables us to conclude that all of the innovative technologies of the educational sector are focused on the competitiveness of future specialists, as long as increasing the number of qualified competitive specialists is an important factor of socio-economic development of Ukraine. On the other hand, the development of competitive skills of specialists, who are obtaining two-stage (bachelor – master) education, is a sign of their personal and professional development and successful implementation of life plans. That is why, the im- portance of the formation a competitive, responsible, active, independent, professionally competent specialist as a holis- tic, life-affirming, creative personality is the main task of modern education, which is focused on providing self- actualization and creating conditions for their self-fulfilment. At this stage it is impossible to overestimate the impor- tance of training psychologists at a high professional level. At this very stage of training future psychologists for profes- sional activity it is necessary to pay special attention to the formation of competitiveness. Competitiveness allows spe- cialists to take the ranking place at the labour market, to realize their professional potential in full. The purpose of this article is to identify the pedagogical essence of competitiveness of future psychologists by clarifying its concepts and categories: “competition”, “competitiveness”, “personal competitiveness”, “competitiveness of a specialist”, “future psychologists’ competitiveness”. Competitiveness in economics is defined as the ability of an object or a person to compete in comparison with analogical objects or people in this sphere. In pedagogical science diverse approaches, mechanisms, aspects of the study of competitiveness are being searched in the field of education. In this regard, the problem of determining the nature of specialist’s competitiveness and its elements that will form the basis of the peda- gogical process of the formation of the qualities of a future specialist becomes more urgent. |
