Abstract:	The article presents the results of study on peculiarities of Self-image of Ukrainian students according to methods by M. Kun and T. Mc Partland “The test of 20 statements”. The author analyses frequency of manifestation of sixteen categories in selfdescriptions. There is an additional category ascertained which is common for the Ukrainians. The author describes some peculiarities of Ukrainian mentality concerning universal measures of individualism – the collectivism.
