Олімпійська флористика

Abstract

Статтю присвячено місцю флористики в історії Олімпійських ігор. Це питання має глибоке історичне коріння й тісно пов’язане з культурною та символічною традицією відзначення спортивних досягнень. Іще в античній Греції переможців атлетичних змагань – агонів – ушановували вінками, сплетеними з рослин, що мали не лише естетичну привабливість, а й насичене символічне значення. Актуальність проблеми полягає у тому, що роль флористики в олімпійському русі досі залишається малодослідженою попри її значний внесок у збереження історичної спадщини, формування емоційного фону спортивних подій та підкреслення їх урочистості. Мета дослідження – проаналізувати історичні витоки використання флористичних елементів в Олімпійських іграх античності, зокрема символіку рослин у відзначенні переможців. The article is devoted to the place of floristry in the history of the Olympic Games. This issue has deep historical roots and is closely connected with the cultural and symbolic tradition of celebrating sporting achievements. Even in ancient Greece, winners of athletic competitions – agons – were honored with wreaths woven from plants that had not only aesthetic appeal, but also a rich symbolic meaning. The relevance of the problem is that the role of floristry in the Olympic movement remains little studied, despite its significant contribution to the preservation of historical heritage, the formation of the emotional background of sporting events and the emphasis on their triumph. The aim of the study is to analyze the historical origins of the use of floral elements in the Olympic Games of antiquity, in particular, the symbolism of plants in the celebration of winners.
