The Expression of Confucian Ideology in China's Foreign Policy

Abstract

The history of China is inextricably linked with the history of the emergence and development of Confucianism, its influence on both domestic and foreign policy. Today, one can increasingly hear messages from Chinese officials in the direction of Confucian ethics, which indicates its fundamental influence on the ideology of the country as a whole. It is enough in this case to recall the "Five Principles", on the basis of which the PRC established relations with many countries of the world. Guided by the ideology of good neighborliness, China's foreign policy towards its neighbors has achieved significant global success. The main state policy of the PRC is to firmly adhere to openness to the outside world, actively develop cooperation with all countries on the basis of equality and mutual benefit. Історія Китаю нерозривно пов'язана з історією виникнення та розвитку конфуціанства, його впливом як на внутрішню, так і на зовнішню політику. Сьогодні все частіше можна чути меседжі від китайських посадовців у напрямку конфуціанської етики, що свідчить про її фундаментальний вплив на ідеологію країни в цілому. Достатньо в цьому випадку згадати «П'ять принципів», на основі яких КНР встановила відносини з багатьма країнами світу. Керуючись ідеологією добросусідства, зовнішня політика Китаю щодо своїх сусідів досягла значних світових успіхів. Головною державною політикою КНР є тверде дотримання відкритості зовнішньому світу, активний розвиток співробітництва з усіма країнами на основі рівності та взаємної вигоди.
