Abstract

The relevance of the study is due to the fact that over the past three centuries, no country in Europe has suffered from emigration as much as Ireland – ten million Irish people have left Ireland and settled abroad. Numerous Irish diasporas around the world, mainly in the UK, USA, Canada, Australia and the EU, have a significant impact on the socio-economic and political development of the Republic of Ireland, and determine its role and place in the contemporary system of international relations.
