Хтось скаже: 68000 у словнику Бориса Грінченка, інший виправить – 71304 у "Кореневому гніздовому словнику української мови" Євгенії Карпіловської, ще хтось – 134 058 в 11-томному "Словнику української мови", ще хтось – мільйон у свідомості українців. How many words are in our language? There will be different answers to this question. Some will say: 68,000 in Borys Hrinchenko's dictionary, others will correct 71,304 in Yevhenia Karpilovska's Root Nesting Dictionary of the Ukrainian Language, another 134,058 in the 11-volume Dictionary of the Ukrainian Language, and another a million in the minds of Ukrainians. |
