На підставі теоретичного аналізу психолого-педагогічних джерел з’ясовано сутність самостійної роботи студентів. Визначено рівні, види та форми самостійної роботи студентів економічних факультетів, а також форми її контролю та звітності в процесі вивчення іноземної мови. Розглянуто функції та умови ефективної організації самостійної роботи.
