| Abstract: | The article is dedicated to the study of the specificity of translating scientific texts from English into Ukrainian. In the focus of the research there is the survey of the finding in this field. There is also provided the analysis of the strategies and tactics of translation employed in accordance with the functional-communicative approach to translation studies. Стаття присвячена вивченню специфіки перекладу наукових текстів з англійської на українську мову. У дослідженні проведено огляд розробок в цій галузі. Також представлений аналіз стратегій і тактик перекладу, які застосовуються відповідно до функціонально-комунікативного підходу до теорії перекладу. |
