Емпіричне дослідження cистеми взаємозв’язків толерантності студентів з особистісними характеристиками

Abstract

The article is devoted to theoretical and empirical study of tolerance, systemic analysis of the tolerance structure and levels of determination: psychophysiological, individually psychological and psychosocial. The study examines psychophysiological, personal, existential and humanistic, psychosocial and situational approaches to the study of tolerance in the domestic and foreign Psychology. The necessity of a systematic study of tolerance can go to the understanding of this phenomenon as an integrated system and personality characteristics with three levels of determination: psychophysiological, individually psychological and psychosocial. The theoretical analysis shows that tolerance is a system of integrity competence of tolerant behavior, cognitive complexity in the perception of contradictory world, readiness for empathy, personal values and attitudes to coexist in peace. The study of this phenomenon should systematically take into account physiological, cognitive, emotional, behavioral and value-semantic aspects. It is found out that the latter level (value orientations, personal maturity, social adaptation) is the most important one, the individual psychological one (divergent thinking, empathy) is of the less importance and the psychophysiological level plays the smallest role in the determination of tolerance. У статті наведені узагальнені дослідження толерантності, які торкаються підходів до її змісту. Показано, що толерантність – це складний багатоаспектний і багатокомпонентний феномен, що має кілька ліній прояву й розвитку. Емпірично виявлені зв’язки різного рівня значимості толерантності зі ступенем розвитку і сформованості егоцентричних та просоцiальних типiв цiнностей, що переважно охоплює та обумовлює взаємозв’язки толерантності з іншими особистiсними характеристиками, з показниками розвиненості дивергентного мислення, з нервово-психічною стiйкiстю.
