Освіта як засіб модернізації сучасного суспільства

Abstract

У статті автор акцентує увагу на сучасному аналізі категорії «освіта», як засобі модернізації сучасного суспільства. Заслуговує на увагу сучасний теоретичний, філософський аналіз зазначеної категорії, де прослід-ковується саме роль освіти в розвитку, становленні особистості та модернізації людства в цілому. Автор аналізує мету освіти в сучасному освітньому просторі та визначає її сучасну характеристику – глобалізацію як основну тенденція розвитку. В статті визначені принципи сучасної освіти на основі основних ліній розвитку держави, функції та освітні цінності. Цінності освіти визначають пріоритетні напрями її розвитку, пошук оптимальних шляхів модернізації. Подальше дослідження спрямовано на виявлення тенденцій організації до-шкільної освіти в сучасному освітянському просторі..The article deals with the review of the modern category of “education” as a means of modern society moderniza-tion. The contemporary theoretical philosophical analysis of this category presents the role of education in the develop-ment and formation of a personality in particular and humanity modernization in general. On the basis of the review of Ukrainian scientists’ scientific works considering the function of modern education in the world the following conclu-sion has been made: modern education must respond to the requirements of time in a better, faster and more accurate way; develop a person capable for living and working effectively in a global society. On the basis of this statement the author has come to the conclusion about the necessity of globalization of education as the main trend of contemporary education. The purpose of education in modern educational space is also considered. The principles of modern educa-tion on the basis of the central areas of state development and educational values are determined. Values are a subjec-tive phenomenon, which can be classified according to various criteria. The example of classification of values accord-ing to different characteristics is presented. Educational values as the basis of moral education of a person are described. Values of education determine priority directions of its development and the search for optimal ways of its moderniza-tion. The priority worldview values of our education system are the following: the values of humanism, social initiative and creativity, human dignity, democracy, patriotism, national consciousness. The principles of the modern category of “education” that guide the process of modernization are highlighted in the Law of Ukraine “On Education”. The main principles are the following: regularity, consistency, democracy, innovation, continuity and scientific character of edu-cation. The pedagogical category “education” directs the human development, personal development and upgrades the development of society in general.
