| Abstract: | The article analyses specificity of a language faculty and mastering of a national language in terms of Ukrainian-Russian bilingualism. The author examines the mechanisms of interlanguage code switching in terms of mass bilingualism, the usage of mother and foreign languages due to the sphere of communication and also the interaction of language systems in the multicultural society. |
