Development of sociocultural competence of future physical education and sports specialists in the process of learning english

Abstract

Modern trends in the development of the Ukrainian higher education system are reflected in the State Standard of Higher Education and other regulatory documents in the field of foreign language teaching. All these documents define the goal of foreign language training for future specialists in physical education and sports as acquiring professional competence in teaching foreign languages in their respective fields at a level corresponding to future specialists’ academic and professional qualifications.
