The new Ukrainian school teacher`s humanistic outlook (Based on K.Ushynsky`s scientific studies

Abstract

Prominent scholar-teacher Konstantin Ushinsky expressed the leading idea of humanization of education, which can be defined as the orientation of its goals, content, forms and methods on the personality of the student, the harmonization of its development. To humanize the learning process, the scientist argued, means to reorient the thinking of the teacher to the fact that the student as a subject of learning is not obedient material for purposeful pedagogical "molding" of anything, but such an individual who can be exposed to external influences only when he wants it when he receives them.
