Abstract: Information culture is an important component of the professional competence of a modern teacher. It encompasses the knowledge, skills and values necessary for the effective use of information technologies (IT) in the educational process and includes the ability to process, store, transmit and analyze information in accordance with ethical norms and rules. In the context of teachers, “Information culture” is the basis for the formation of professional skills and the development of skills to integrate IT into educational activities [6]. Information literacy is defined as “the ability to effectively interact with information flows, critically evaluate data, use digital tools to process them and create new knowledge”
