Abstract

Ukrainian-Moldovan relations are built on the background of common borders, common internal problems and mainly on Russian influence in two sovereign states that were under the influence of Soviet imperialism, but in 1990 - the then internal governments adopted acts on the sovereignty of states, and in historiography - this will be an act of a parade of sovereignties, announcing the act of gradual exit from the Soviet Union - for the then citizen of Ukraine and Moldova hope for a bright future, and for the center in Moscow it was a sign of the loss of its influence on the two countries, whose borders pass as protection from the main ideological opponent. For the Moldavian SSR - where one of the separatist regions is located, which was not ready to recognize Moldova - as a separate sovereign state from the USSR, against the background of the language conflict and internal social problems, an internal conflict begins in the Transnistria region, which is supported by Moscow and leads to the region "peacekeeping" forces to settle the conflict - thus, supporting the puppet government, which is controlled from the center and at any time, can pose a threat to other regions of Moldova. The Ukrainian SSR did not lose sight of Moscow either, this is especially noticeable in Crimea, where the Black Sea Fleet of the Russian Federation was stationed, which posed a threat to the independent Ukrainian state, against the background of these events, complications in social and everyday life are noticed internally in Ukraine and in other post-Soviet republics for the population. In this difficult period, some former Soviet republics are beginning to move to the European and Euro-Atlantic space in search of protection from Russian aggression and economic support.
