dc.description.abstract | There is no doubt about the importance of studying mathematics. Knowledge and skills in mathematics are needed not only in almost all other disciplines of the school course, but also in many areas of everyday life of every person. Mathematics provides not only the opportunity to perform various types of calculations and mathematical researches, but also accustoms a pupil to a logical way of thinking. The relationship between mathematics and economics in the school course occurs in problems of economic content that can be solved as a part of mastering the mathematics course. Mathematical topics that are most often used in economics are: ratios and percentages; concept of random event, frequency and probability; elements of mathematical statistics; elements of combinatorics. | uk |
