Abstract:	The work is devoted to the study of the problem of the development of artistic and associative thinking of future piano teachers. The essence of the concept of "thinking" has been studied. The scientific category "association" is considered in the context of artistic and associative thinking. Artistic and associative thinking is defined as a type of professional thinking of future piano teachers. Робота присвячується дослідженню проблеми розвитку художньо-асоціативного мислення майбутніх викладачів фортепіано. Досліджено сутність поняття «мислення». Розглядається наукова категорія «асоціація» в контексті художньо-асоціативного мислення. Художньо- асоціативне мислення визначається як вид професійного мислення майбутніх викладачів фортепіано.
